We have begun providing our proprietary patented technology (Japan Patent No. 7063508) to a broad range of companies and services that require identity verification. The technology verifies a person against official identification documents, such as driver’s licenses and Japan’s My Number Card, and does not retain the document data once verification is complete.

As large-scale leaks of personal information continue to occur, this technology is based on the principle of strictly verifying that a person is who they claim to be while not retaining sensitive information used for verification any longer than necessary. Once verification is successfully completed, the uploaded identification document is automatically deleted, eliminating the need for service operators to retain it and reducing the amount of information that could potentially be exposed in a data leak.

This technology has already been implemented in the digital transformation of national qualifications and systems overseen by Japan’s National Police Agency, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Going forward, we will expand it into a wide range of fields, including finance and payments, real estate, accommodation, sharing services, online contracting, and administrative procedures, through system and API integration, OEM arrangements, joint development, and other models.
